The Queen Beez never stop working. They’re back with their latest song “Home Run.” The song addresses the importance of giving back to the community and creating a safe environment for all. It’s important now more than ever to give back and help your community flourish and they decided to spread the message with the help of students from Georgetown University. They filmed a large portion of their documentary titled Listen to Me World (click here for more) while working on this project. “Home Run” was filmed at the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy while rocking their customized Queen Beez baseball jerseys with their stage names on the back.
These young ladies performed at National Geographic’s Film Festival and Howard Theatre last month so their future is looking very bright. Be on the look out for their next video “Shades,” a song addressing colorism in the African American community. That project will begin its recording process in a few weeks, just in time for the summer. Check out “Home Run” below!
